OTHER SITES DEALING WITH LEAVING (CHRISTIAN) RELIGION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- One of the first resources I found on the internet is still one of the best. Leaving Christianity, by Steve Locks, has many useful resources and dialog aimed at helping the ex-Christian: http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~slocks/decon.html The Recovering From Religion website is the home base of the RFR Webring and is an excellent resource: http://members.aol.com/recovfromrelig/index.html The No, I'm not a Christian - Not Anymore! site by James Buckner, is another fellow traveller's experiences and thoughts: http://home.att.net/~j-buckner/no.html The exchristian.org A collection of deconversion stories and links, from people who used to be Christian but now are not. http://www.users.bigpond.com/pmurray/exchristian/ The guys at Losing My Religion.com have a great site with some interesting articles and testimonies. Check them out for some great tools to help yourself or others think about the illogic of Christian beliefs. http://www.losingmyreligion.com/lmrhome.html Merle Hertzler's Questioning - An Examination of Christian Belief is one of the best presentations of the logical thinking process that brings one to a rational viewpoint that I have read. Merle is very experienced in debating the issues and has the depth that comes from having done so on both sides of the argument. http://www.geocities.com/questioningpage/ Other sites of interest: Walk Away -- http://www.berkshire.net/~ifas/wa/index.html The EX-TIAN Home Page -- http://www.infidels.org/electronic/email/ex-tian/ ExChristian.Net -- http://exchristian.net Christian Deconversion Board -- http://www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/180690
I will be adding more sites to this list soon! |
